NAMM 2012 Round-Up Part 3 – Korg, Vestax, AIAIAI, Serato

Vestax offers their first true high-end DJ controller with the VCI-400. It’s designed to work with any DJ software and you got to love those chunky rotary knobs for that old school mixer feel.

Korg introduced the Kaossilator 2 and the Kaoss Pad 2. Korg keeps pushing the idea of portable instruments, basing the design of these new units on everyday MP3 players / cellphones… lines are blurring.

Korg also keeps developing cheap pocket instruments with two new Monotrons (not pictured the Delay Monotron).

Livid introduced the Richie Hawtin-designed CNTRL:R.

Allen & Heath introduced the Xone K2, a DJ midi controller.

Stony got to checkout firsthand the upcoming AIAIAI studio headphones.

Lastly, Serato is releasing new control colors (non-limited edition) including a true glow-in-the-dark version.
