
Frogman was in town so we headed to Citi Field. even though the stadium is new (and beautiful), Mets games are the quintessential NY experience… such a diverse crowd, families, and everyone having fun (even if the Mets are stinking it up). even if you despise baseball (like me), it’s always a good time (can’t say the same about Yanks games).

crossing over the walkway to Flushing Meadows you get hit with feel of the old NY, especially when you hit the train yards.

this plaza with its decorative zig zags and underutilized space is so late 80s… you feel like you’re gonna run into the Baseball Furies.

no stop in Queens is complete without visiting this place aka Heaven On Earth.
