went for the first time to Red Bulls Stadium to check out a game. there’s great views from every seat and you’re super close to the pitch. the vertical alignment of the seats gives it a coliseum type feel. also, the crowd, although not capacity, really fills the arena with noise.
as for the game, the MLS has come a long way, but the offensive third is where the game still struggles. Henry looked gives about 50% effort, but still showed glimpses of brilliance. one thing that amazes me about professional players is their touch. every player on the field had incredible touch. also, the players don’t really talk to each other on the pitch. no one is yelling man-on, get back on d, or pass.
i would definitely recommend checking out a game there, especially if you can score All-Star Man U tkts.
