Oregon Nike Pro-Combat

ESPN polled NCAA football student-athletes a year or two ago, and surprisingly, they list Uniform Appeal as a rising factor in determining where they ultimately picked to play football (rising over typical factors such as weather, campus life, history of NFL alum from the program, etc). People came out and challenged that, straight denying the fact that kids would pick a school over the likes of traditional powerhouses (ND, Michigan, etc) b/c of their uniforms. For those idiots, check these out…

….mind you, this is one of about 10 different ones they have for this year.

I love having this fantasy argument with my friends: “If you were a 5-star high school senior, where would you pick to play football?”. My friends and I list the obvious: the top SEC programs, throw in Texas and USC. But fuck, it would be hard for me to turn these unis down.
