The Roots performed "How I Got Over" off their upcoming album on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, and just absolutely murdered it! Look at the J.B.'s-esque formation and step!! Check out Thought steppin in his Air Force Ones towards the end. The Roots on Late Night is the best thing to happen to TV since the NBA paired GP and CWebb together on their network studio show ("Triple! Trizzle-dizzle!")

so for the past month, everyone and their mom has told me about the legend of Berghain in Berlin. Anything from:
-hidden rooms that sell ice cream
-its the best soundsystem in germany
-possible appearance by techno viking
-flaps on the windows that will open for a second (at 8am) when the music hits an epic climax
-people get there at 4am and stay til 1pm

so if you are in berlin tomorrow, or have friends, come thru!

His co-worker Margherita just moved to Philly from Italy a couple of years ago and was kind enough to re-translate it back into English:

"Willy, the Prince of Bel Air"

This is the maxi-story about how my life
changed, overturned, upside down has ended up to be.
Sitting on two feet here with you

Playing basketball with my friends I grew up
I had a ball, wow so cool every minute.
My tough days ran away like this
in-between a mega-shot in the basket and a movie of Spike Lee.

Then my ball thrown a bit higher
went exactly on the head of those vikings down there.
The most tough got mad, made a spinning top of me
and my mom worried told me "Go away to Bel Air".

I prayed her implored her but to my uncle she wants me to go
she packed my suitcases and said "Go your own way"
after giving me a kiss and a ticket to leave
with the stereo in the ears I said "Here is better to make the tyres screech".

First class, it's a trip!
freshly squeezed orange juice in crystal glasses.
If this is the lifestyle that people have in Bel Air
hmmmm for me then is not that bad.

I called a yellow cab with my tested whistle
like in formula 1 I felt big-headed.
An all new life is exploding for me,

we played at Club Vodka, which fed us whatever we wanted, and treated us well.. I played after Lusine, the stage was elevated in the center of the bar..soundsystem was real loud-- thanks to Andrey, Sasha, Olya, and everyone who attended!
