Could this be the most incredible thing to happen in sports history?

It all started with Chad Johnson playfully placing an "Ocho Cinco" nameplate over "Johnson" in one of his games a couple seasons ago. Then, last year he changed his name legally from 'Chad Johnson' to 'Chad Ocho Cinco', but the NFL refused to acknowledge the change. Now, coming into this season, the league, along with the media, have fully accepted the fully legal name change. This is all old news, but it hasn't really hit me until I saw this on the NFL's official merchandise website....

It kills me everytime a reporter mentions "Ocho Cinco" with a total straight face. Honestly, could this be the craziest thing in sports history?!?

UPDATE:
omg.... i didnt even realize this, but i just read this in John Clayton's mailbag:

Q: Don't you think it would be hilarious for Chad Johnson to go to a team where he could not get the number 85?
-Paul in Norman, Okla.

A: I officially nominate you for e-mailer of the year. I did check and saw that 14 teams don't currently have the No. 85 on their roster. The Eagles do have an opening for a No. 85. If the Eagles could work out a trade, at least he wouldn't have to change his number.
