so the michna tour finally ended. Here is the post-sxsw summary:

after Austin we headed to New Orleans. It was all our first time being there and we loved it. This is partially the reason why we skipped out on WMC. It kind of feels like paradise down there, especially if you get to chill with the right locals. Jim Russel records had ridiculous selection, and it was like a time warp museum inside. I bought KLF and Craig Mack Cassingles. Also in the dollar cd bin was FungKungFusion, Rabbit in the Moon, DJ Sneak mix cds, and other jewels I snatched. 

If you wanna catch the Ice live these days, you better head South.

I ended up drinking for 40 nights in a row. I didn't want to, but it happened. To prevent from getting sick I ran a steady diet of garlic and diet coke

Then we drove from NoLa to Gainesville, where DJ Coin Laundry made an appearance

Next night was Tampa, these girls got pissed when we took this picture

Tampa is the New Jersey of Florida

but they party regardless in Ybor City

Jacksonville was dope cause the venue was a block away from the beach

After Florida we did a really good run of shows in Alabama and Tennessee. We had these posters for sale and sold all of em

The last show was in Athens GA for the ballers ball.

A few hours later and I'm djing at the brooklyn museum. I had no idea it would be like Ibiza.

When the smoke cleared I found myself in residential Brooklyn on the set of a Hardy Boys video shoot

I showed up with $8300 in cash in my pocket and Hardy Boys really liked that. (I offered to use it as a prop in the video, to simulate the Money Studies advance money, but we didn't)

Hardy Boys blew most of the video budget on extras, and everyone was amped. What you can't see is that Mike here is wearing speedos underneath.
