Maciej Buszewicz.
Born 1952 in Rawicz, Poland. Master of Fine Arts. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has been active in graphic design since 1976. From 1980 to 1984he was an art director at ISKRY Publishing House and at Poljazz Record Company. Since 1984 he teaches at the typography studio at the Faculty of Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He lectures at many schools in Germany, U.S.A. and others. Since 1989 (with Poland’s democratic changes), he has participated in many national and international graphic design events and has received a number of awards. Among them the competition “Most Beautiful Book of the Year in Poland” (23 times awarded plus dozens of distinctions). In 1992 he established his own studio in Warsaw, B(c) Grafika Wydawnicza. In recent years he gives master classes in book design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
