Sick Dayz
People understand when u slack off some at work, even admiring your fortitude for working under such duress (I make a head cold seem like Leukemia to all outward appearances, whatever); it's seen as polite when you deliberately avoid people you despise ("I'm sick as dog, best to stay over there, overly-happy-for-7:05 AM-religious-nut-job-with-a-bunch-of-pamphlets"); and also you can spend countless hours on your ass eating takeout in front of the TV, "recovering," and feel like you're doing the responsible thing. Roommates will even bring you things like the personal servants you always saw them as if you play it right. Yea...being sick is kinda the good life; it's like all the best parts of being disabled except you get to walk afterwards and you don't need someone else to clean the drool up off your chin. Anyway, I meant for this to somehow artfully segue into talking about upcoming Fall seasonal TV I'm pumped on, but I don't have the energy, *cough*, so I'll just get to it. Even though Project Runway is wrapping up I'm so psyched on TV for the fall. First of all, it's football season and the birds look good: Also, season two of the Sarah Connor Chronicles has kicked off proper. ...getting the mood right for Terminator 4: Salvation coming next May. As if that weren't enough....IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA new season STARTS TODAY! Let's get it Autumn.
