Went to see Nas perform to a super intimate crowd yesterday in the LES. Dante Ross was there and he couldn't have summed up the night better...

"Another humdinger in the Alife backyard. It was as packed as I have ever seen. NAS celebrated his album release with a preview performance of a bunch of new tunes from his untiled record. I have the record and it's brightest moments are nothing short of brilliant as Nas challenges Black and White America to stand up and make a change and questions amongst other things our goverment ( Hero ft. Keri Hilson), our upcoming elections( Black President) and the N word ( They say were Ni....). It's an important record and it's best moments are some of the best of NAS' whole lengthy career.

That said Nas came through and just straight killed it. The casual backyard vibe and his comfort zone with the audience who knew the words even when he didn't was something to marvel at. Seeing Nas rock literally 15 feet away from me made for a great time. Add a bunch of OG friends of mine in the house this was one for the record books."

Here's video of Nas starting things off with NY State Of Mind and then Represent on into Make You Look.

Thanks for the footy Dante...One LtotheOVE!
