in my once every two years activity,
i went to go check out the museums by the park this wknd...
went to the Cooper Hewitt National Design museum (yes, things like this exist!)
and checked out the Campana Brothers exhibit. This brazilian design duo went through the Cooper Hewitt collection and picked their favorites, and I was quite amazed at what they came up with.

Any sucker with a couple design books can pick out some Swiss posters or cool German packaging, but these guys picked brilliant, unexpected stuff. the most inspiring were these plates by some french guy named Seguy. These plates are collectively titled "Insectes". The color and detail is incredible, but I really like how the insects are arranged within the rectangular frame.

i immediately went home to check if you can purchase these things, but doh, an incomplete set will run you close to 4gs
, but i'd say it's worth it...
