NEW LAB LA RADIO… I wasn’t really feeling my gayass, happy Disco House set, so luckily these guys came thru. IN FLAGRANTI
This was the first time for me to fly out a guest I had previously never met to do a party. I thought it was gonna be the ultimate headache, but instead Sasa from In Flagranti turned out to be the coolest dude i’ve met for a while now. He completely lived up to that ‘cool European dude, hanging with the ladies and partying to great music till dawn’ image I had of him. His set on the show was full of unreleased Disco magic as well as their own edits and songs from friends. What really struck me tho was that this is the first guy I’ve met in a really long time that reminded me that ‘hey this music shit isn’t just here for us to profit off of and bastardize as much as possible.’ Oh right. This is art and these other people are vultures for not treating it as such. The thing is when he says it, it doesn’t sound all negative like me, mad cool motherfucker.
His weekly party Dance Right is the only party I try and get my friends spots at when they visit, his taste and timing are impeccable and most importantly he don’t give a fuck about any of this shit cause he was in a Pepsi commercial back in the day and he has a cool 9-5. Can’t say enough good things about him. Check his PUBELOG. Also I forgot to ask during his interview about the origin of his name. It’s cause he was the only kid in some rock band growing up back in Jersey and when he’d throw his drum sticks in the air all the other dudes would say something like “look at little Puberty go(referencing his underarm sprouts).” Oh yeah his set was dope, kind of Rockish. Next Month Gaslamp Killer & Sabo stop by….
