back in '03 i went to my then roommate jack's shows (performing with his brother as Jeff and Jack Lewis Band) . after the shows he would very subtly point out that indie heros like kimya dawson or david herman dune or chris glover were in the audience. he was like check it out, chris glover got signed to interscope, his albums gonna drop big in the '04. so listened and was like "this could actually be huge" - it had elements of johnny cash, kid rock, and throw in a splash of dashboard confesh for good measure. so we would guess how many units it would sell. i said i wouldn't be suprised if it went gold... so we waited for it to drop, and waited....
Did Interscope shelve the chris glover album?

Ffwd to this past month and the first thing people say when they walk in the store is "do you have the holy ghost! 12 inch???" And I reply "oh yeah the blue one that looks like a mets logo that has vocals and guitar by chris glover?" they're like "yeah" and i say "SOLD OUT!"
