1520 Sedgwick, A Mitchell-Lama Development, is Still At Risk!

· As with all Mitchell-Lamas, the owners of 1520 Sedgwick have the right to "buy-out" of the affordability program.
· BSR Management, the owner of Sedgwick, has notified tenants that they plan to buy-out in February of 2008.
· They also plan to sell the building to a private-equity investor known for flipping buildings to make large profits.
· Already, New York City has lost more than 40,000 units of affordable Mitchell– Lama housing
· We CANNOT afford to lose any more.

Help save this important cultural landmark that his home to hundreds of low-income residents!
