We had the grand opening of the art gallery in the front of our new studio last night in Minneapolis. Off the chandeliers. Group art show, live music, B.Y.O.Shirt live screnprinting (sorry - no all-over print hoodies), and closed it off with a dance party. Hot shit.

MIGHT PUT AWAY THE WOOD AND GIVE YOU THE MOUSTACHE.
Tommy Lee, Kid Rock, Colin Farrell ... and Screech? If an alleged new sex tape is any indication, Dustin Diamond (aka Screech Powers from the classic sitcom "Saved By The Bell") isn't just a threesome-loving stud -- he gets down and dirty (and we mean dirty) with his hoochies. TMZ has learned that a tape involving Diamond – who recently proclaimed to the world that he was completely broke – has allegedly surfaced in which the former TV star cavorts with two unidentified women. And even more shocking is an act that Diamond engages in with the women which involves bodily excretions and moustache-painting, known in sexual vernacular as the "Dirty Sanchez." TMZ learned of the allegation yesterday night, and called Screech's reps, who did not immediately return our calls. Rush & Molloy report this morning that the tape is in the hands of Phoenix-based agent David Hans Schmidt, who has brokered other such celeb-skin deals, and that Schmidt is shopping the digital video tape around to Hustler and Vivid Video, among other outlets. It might not exactly be Oscar-caliber work, but Diamond's manager, Roger Paul, seems to be at least a little happy about the development for his client. "Dustin has been trying to escape the Screech typecast. So this may help me get more bookings," says Paul, who says he hasn't seen the tape.

got this email from my brother this morning. Heres some exciting news: I just had a couple teeth removed, didn't follow the post surgery instructions, went into shock and just about bled to death! This is 2 days after so the swelling has gone down a bit; looked like I was in a car wreck the first day. Hurt like hell but I'm thrilled to be rid of these dam rotten things. The best part is I just found a home kit on the internet for cloning & growing your own teeth. We'll eventually remove all my teeth, replacing them with new, fresh grown ones. They should be ready in 4 to 5 years according to the instructions. Its comforting to know modern medicine will now reward countless years of dental neglect with brand new teeth instead of intrusive fillings. Thanks sceince! No more time wasted with old fashioned brushing & flossing. Can't wait to watch the new teeth grow. I just need an embreyo and couple other things I have to order from Germany and I can get started. Anyways, I'm recovering just fine.

About the last post, I apologize for hating, just got worked up talking to Josh from 10 Deep about this streetwear craze and the illogical behavoir it creates (sorry nigo, please don't send the Apes!). on the lighter side of things, the Diner Old Boys have made it to the semi-finals of the playoffs. P-Gorgeous is notorious for playoff intensity, best demonstrated in our historical brawl with Chinatown United from 2 years ago. I almost got attacked by a Bolo lookalike on the sidelines and I swear they pulled out $5 canal street switchblades. anyway, playing late night soccer can't be beat. our opposition didn't show, so we ended up scrimmaging until 11pm.

finally caught up on some tivo yesterday and checked out the MTV music awards. did anyone see that Pharrell brought Nigo along? (funny, when searching for this pic, one of the taglines was "Is Pharrell dating Nigo?). I hate to criticize people and their style, but this dude is too comical. if you're going to wear chains that big, lift some weights. Dude looks like he's going to fall over. I'm not talking about heavy weights, maybe some protein shakes and calisthenics? How old is this guy? How does he justify dropping that much on something so ridiculous? Does it represent his triumph of overcoming the odds and rising from the projects? I'm definitely getting jumped by some kids wearing SBs and all-over prints tonight. oh yeah, nice neon dog crotch print jean shorts.

So is the all over print the new flannel? I think it might be. Ah in a ten year span going from STP and Pearl Jam to E-40 and some other popular shit... it’s kinda silly if you think about it. Fuck Baltimore club and freestyle. 2007 and 2008 is going to be all about RAVE CLASSICS. Seriously, I’ve been in Florida this week on vacation and have been spending a little time going through the stockpile of 90’s UK rave and Florida breaks I have at my parents house. Remember SL2’s “On a Ragga Trip” and Channel X’s “Rave The Rhythm?” Probably not unless you’ve been in the game for a bit or you have really good 90’s electronic music taste T.V. rots your brain by the way. I’ve had a chance to watch a bit this week. Why are all the new girls on Laguna Beach busted? Should I even care? Yeah, the beach sucks right now; I’ve gone a few times this week to see a bunch of dead fish. Thanks red tide. My step-father, yes I am a product of divorce, finally gave in and let me have his The Who collection. This has probably been the high point of the week. I’m kind of ready to go back to work now.

some random pics from my recent LA trip. went to the Natural Museum of History, and caught a glimpse of MEGAMOUTH. love that 70s style font on the signage, so effective. This thing was probably 5 foot long, the mouth opens up over a foot. awesome.
LA is so multicultural that A) they have billboards advertising Korean kimchee bowls and ramen in Hollywood. B) those same billboards are written in Spanish and target Mexicans. go figure.
my niece. so freaking cute.
a stop at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. yes, the place is really is red-lit. we went to the La Brea location. Fried chicken was alright, waffles were soggy, but for some reason, it just taste better here. check out the butter mound on the waffles... i was checking around and people were using all of it, that's like half a stick right there.

so I went down to san diego last weekend (I think the original meaning of the name was "a whale's vagina") for the asr and agenda trade shows. I been hearing about asr since I was a 14 yr old Big Brother junkie, and expected full mayhem over there... I guess the years have made it a little tame, but me and Neil Nice did get to see some good skating on the demo ramp. Kareem Campbell, Jamie Storey, Robbie Ganjemi and a bunch of other pros Im too old to know were at the session, but the ramp got OWNED by this 3 ft high 8 year old blond kid who was landing like 5 foot airs back to back. He didnt win the high air comp, but Kareem gave him 50 anyway. outside of the tradeshow this was the general look of the weekend. jemz was in rare form after coming to the party friday night straight from the airport (3 airplane drinks = 1/2 hour to set up serato). saturday night, we heard about a Vice party... in fucking Tijuana! That combination seemed way to good to pass up, so me and Nacho Neil started drinking at 4, doing the Pee Wee Herman Tequila dance and trying to convince other people to come with us. Those lucky suckers ended up being Josh and Scott from 10 Deep. Make a long story short, everybody was a little shook about going to TJ cause of all the stories people were feeding us (whatever you do, don't piss in the street! and no mixed drinks cuz of the ice cubes! money in your sock! etc), then the Vice party kinda sucked, then the strip club REALLY sucked (no nudity, $40 lapdances)... so we all went back. Neil stopped at the Pharmacia. Then he got held up at the border. By the time he got through I was ready to piss my pants, so I ran to the parking lot and ducked behind an electric box, stepping straight into 3 foot of piss mud with my white rod lavers. Mesh mind you. Needless to say, they stayed at the border with my socks.

read of the moment: new autobiography from Dat Nguyen, the first NFL player of Vietnamese descent and recently retired Dallas Cowboy. Hate the Cowboys, but I gotta give this guy some respect. Undersized middle linebacker whose family came from Vietnam during the war and ended up in a immigrant camp in Texas. Somehow Dat climbed his way up Texas high school football, became one of Texas A&M's finest linebackers, and earned all-pro honors in the NFL. I am really curious to see how much shit he went through playing a sport that Asians are not associated with, and all the rascism that came along with it. I'm only a chapter into it (so far Dat's gotten a death threat letter from a redneck and his family escaped the communists by fishing boat to Thailand). the writing is kinda melodramatic and very pc, but the story makes up for it.

So this WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH WHITE PEOPLE? Basically if you went to college, don't talk to me about music, cause I can't even deal with you. If you were profoundly affected by Nirvana, basically I hate you, I was affected by Niravana as a kid, they came out and RUINED MUSIC for me. Look Im all for camp, I'm all for playing some off the wall shit as long as its good shit, but yo, somebody needs to stop these white people soon. Speakning of my people....... I want to hate it so much, but that Fall Out Boy song "sugar were going down" is so good. I mean its getting up there with Nickelback "how you remind me" as one of my fav MTV rock bangers...... Also I've had Third Eye Blind "Semi Charmed" loaded and ready to play like 5 times recently and Lost my nerve........ I really hope I sack up and play it..... and I hope it fucking Kills it...... On some other shit: Why the fuck do people all of a sudden think Lil Wayne is so great? Last time i checked this dude sucked ass and had a really annoying voice, Yea Go DJ was the shit, but Who even lets it play to where he starts rapping? I mean I play that shit all the time and I could not tell you a single word of the vrs... how come nobody likes Dip Set anymore? Like I asked ayres the other day, and he said cause they were not putting out good music anymore? I thought to myself did they ever? Except for that "I really mean it" song and like one or two other things, most of it sounded like garbage to me, so why is it any different now? Do you guys give up on your heros that easy? I mean whats gonna happen to all those dip set t's that you guys bought? Is the dip set Tee like the 2005 verson of the 4 Vinyl rawkus records thing, the fucking names escaping me right now......... Id look on my record shelf to see, but I think I threw my copy out? Young Jeezy, same question as above? Snow Man shirts? Doomed Also?

This past weekend was beyond mediocre. I missed Spank, oh well. I was keeping it real digging at The Thing. The Rub was kind of fun in an un-intentional way. Watching dudes try to be tough was probably the highlight along with Sizzle and Lloydski getting destroyed. I did actually dance with girls, too bad it wasn’t Queen Majesty though. Jemz was great. I guess I missed Pete and his homeboys but I did see plenty of Lab nerds there tough. The Blog has been pretty funny lately for the most part. The Roc, hilarious, Pete, hilarious… everyone else step your game up. SERIOUSLY. Where’d Woody and P Gorgeous go? Boy-Genius has potential. And Wildstyle, I went to FSU for grad school. It sucked for the two whole years, well sort of. Anyways, the school is full of anorexic girls, like the ones pictured who will give sexual favors for coke. They are the future pro-creators of this country. It’s funny and sad cause it’s true. Vay-kay in Florida next week. Woo-hoo

Whether you like football or not, it is officially upon us. The college football season started this past weekend and the NFL kicks off this Thursday (for those who care, Fins vs. Steelshow). You can be a fan of the game or not, but i think we can universally agree that its not necessariliy who's on the field, but rather who's off.... Now i'm kind of new to all this myspace, friendster shite...but one site that has left a mark -- Facebook! Now your probably asking, WTF does this have to do w/ football. Well apparently at FSU (this hasn't been comfirmed) one particular piece of tang is actually paid by someone to sit in the stands and basically make every dude in the stands, or those of us watching on the tube, to ruin their pants. I present to you, Jenn Sterger...

went to The Rub this weekend and ran into a gang of Lab family, including Blu Jemz, fresh off his mini-tour of UK and Norway... dude is like huge there, I guess that justifies his growing jheri curl akshun and dirt mcgirt steez. dude is just living free right now. shout out to lloydski, who turned 23 or 24 that night. he refused shots for the record. Sung (aka Scratchfamous from the old piklz board) was there, so was the tallest Korean I know, the 6-10 Yao-Gene, and the only dude challenging that status, the blog's own Josh Re-Up. Tangfield who had never seen the Rub before, noted how he felt "so white" during the Rub's set, and kept asking me if Ayres was really part of The Rub. "He's so white and he's wearing a Mountain Dew shirt?" Too funny. Other bamas spotted: Telekenetic Kat, Dr. Pitts, Catchdubs, Sizzle, and Pase.... I could sense the Roc response comin, just disappointed it didn't come quicker (he did have a godd point about tv and baseball caps tho)... anyway, Roc's first record release finally came in, so did Diplo's Mad Decent CD. Both will be available for advance purchase in our NY store this weekend. Should be on the site next week. Both come highly recommended. stuff... our soccer team. the diner old boys, continually gets into beef, capped off by the rumble yesterday. Todd squared off with a guy 30 pounds bigger (all muscle) than him. The guy got him in a bear hug (wtf?), and Todd did this flying 180 slam on him, instantly landing in a chokehold. Todd is my new hero. Dan and I deduced that P-Gorgeous is the reason we always get into beef, his physical play brings out the bitch in yoo. tevez to west ham? is this a joke or something? at least it makes the bottom half of the premiership more watchable... I also welcome 2 new bloggers, Llloydski (about time) and Willystyle (who will be reporting straight from the trading desk).
